I have had this chair for less than a year, at first it was ok but in less than 6 months it began to lean to one side, I found that at the end of the day I was having severe back pain, we discovered it is from trying to over compensate for the base not holding the chair stable. It's now like sitting on a spinning top, there is no adjusting or fixing this. Very expensive item to sit at the curb waiting for the garbage truck.

This chair is very comfortable. The assembly except for arm was quite easy. It took some muscle to line up the holes in the arms in order to attach to body of chair.

Chair was priced right, sat good, easy to assemble. Hope it last at least 6 years like my previous chair.

This is a nice chair if you like the metal trim on the armrests and base. I ended up finding another BTEC model within a few days that had wood on those surfaces, which matched my office wood, so I exchanged this one. The BTEC 600 was a little too wide for me, as I'm over 200 lbs, but tall. It is very comfortable, however. FYI - "bonded" leather is a man-made material that's made from real leather and other materials. The only way I found that out was in the literature that came with the chair. l The bonded leather on this one does not look that real compared to the BTEC # 198983 (not Big & Tall) that I exchanged it for. I'm very happy with that one.
